Leadership Camp is a multi-year program designed to meet the needs and interests of high schoolers who want to become camp counselors or plan for a career in education and leadership.
These campers enjoy a week of camp activities and fun while they learn skills and practice working with younger campers. After completing leadership camp, youth will be eligible to participate in camp apprentice opportunities.
Camp will be held at Wildwood Outdoor Education Center in La Cygne, KS. Bus transportation will be available.

New for 2024, Wildwood Day Camp will provide outdoor learning and relationship-building for campers entering grades 1-6 who want all the fun of camp but still want to sleep in their own beds!
Day Campers will swim daily, enjoy hiking and nature activities, and try their hand at outdoor cooking, camp skills, age-appropriate target sports, fishing, arts and maker space programs.
Every day camper will also visit the Wildwood climbing wall and campers in grades 4-6 will go canoeing on the Wildwood pond. Campers will visit the Wildwood library and participate in daily reading time. Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks will be provided.
Bus transportation will be provided daily from Louisburg, Paola, Osawatomie and LaCygne.
Camp staff will ride busses with campers.
Pick up will be around 7:30-8:30 a.m. and drop off around 4:00-5:00 p.m. daily.

Camp Wildwood is a M-F five-day, four-night overnight camp filled with outdoor activities like swimming, fishing, Makerspace exploration, arts, the giant swing, archery, and exploring nature.
Campers sleep in cabins by gender and age-level. Each cabin is staffed by a team of adult camp counselors who stay with the group all week. Campers and staff eat meals together in the dining hall and sing songs around the campfire under the stars.
