R&R (Respite and Recreation) Weekends at Wildwood provide essential social-emotional learning and tech-free outdoor recreation for Jackson County, MO youth in grades 4-7.
Bus transportation and meals are provided.
Campers will get to participate in fun camp activities and build supportive relationships with peers and adults–plus enjoy unique themed fall and winter activities and 150 acres of beautiful camp setting to explore!
Programs will run Friday through Sunday with a conveniently located Jackson County bus stop location.

Programs will run Friday through Sunday with two conveniently located Jackson County bus stop locations. Youth should be successful in a 1:6 adult-to-child ratio and must be eligible for state funded respite care (foster, kinship, etc.) in order to participate. Eligible youth should be successful in a 1:6 adult-to-child ratio, and must be eligible for state funded respite care (foster, kinship, etc.).
Additionally, youth must be in grades 4-7 in the 2024-2025 school year and reside in or have a case originating in Jackson County, MO.
