Wildwood thrives on collaboration and we are excited to recognize some of the partnerships that make camp even more awesome for our campers.

Mental Health and Trauma Informed Camper Care
Wildwood partners with Summit Therapeutic Services to support the mental health of our campers in Summer Camp and in our R & R Weekend programs. The team from Summit visits camp and consults with our staff multiple times each week. Therapists and social workers provide psychoeducational sessions for small groups of campers, encouraging their confidence, self-regulation, and social awareness and skills. In addition, Summit’s clinical staff visit camp to model and mentor our camp counselors, providing coaching, encouragement and support.
Summit’s clinical team provides before-program training to Wildwood’s seasonal staff in the summer and prior to each respite weekend. They prepare curriculum and oversee the trauma sensitive preparation for staff. All Wildwood camp counselors have training in expressive therapy practices and reflection essential to camper learning and growth.

Bussing Services
New in 2025, Brookside Charter School provides bussing services for Wildwood day and overnight camps. This great partnership provides revenue for the school and allows them to keep their bus drivers engaged and employed year-round. Partnering with Brookside has helped Wildwood reduce bussing costs and reach out to additional campers.

Camper Recruitment and Family Connections
A wide variety of organizations help recruit Wildwood campers and share camp registration information with families they serve. Our partners are trusted and well-known by families and, in many cases, have staff and volunteers who can help families complete online enrollment (or pass out paper registration forms where needed.) This makes camp more accessible to kids who are often left out of summer opportunities like camps, travel, sports and lessons.
Wildwood partners have early access to registration information and may “save” spots in preferred weeks before general enrollment opens to the public. Partners may also be assigned a unique “coupon code” to reduce needed paperwork for their families. For more information on becoming a Recruitment and Family Connection partner, contact us at info@wildwoodctr.org.
